Through developing a physical practice, it is possible to become stronger and more flexible, better able to cope with the stresses and strains of modern life, improve confidence and learn to accept yourself for who you are.
Based in the beautiful Dordogne region of South West France, I draw on the traditions of Hatha, Vinyasa Flow & Iyengar yoga to create accessible yoga for all.
I have been practicing yoga for over two decades, and teaching since early 2017. I have experienced first hand the transformative powers of the practice, and my main motivation for teaching is to share with others the potential to experience this transformation; to help people become the best versions of themselves.
Whether you are looking to gain strength, flexibility or improve your balance and co-ordination; if you are seeking techniques to manage stress or anxiety, or feel more comfortable in your own skin; if you want to gain confidence; or if you simply want a way to take time out from your routine, practice self-care and improve your overall wellbeing, yoga has something to offer you.
We are all so wondrously different and complex, so I actively encourage people to honour their bodies - to look after themselves, to notice how they are feeling in the moment, to breathe freely, to be patient and compassionate with their bodies, to allow a release of tension, to change position or relax when they need to… and to smile!
By paying attention to these details we can become more receptive to the many and varied benefits of yoga,
and the practice can become more than a series of stretches or movements; it can become part of who we are and help us become who we want to be.
I welcome people of all levels and experiences of yoga to my classes.
